Working predominantly with acrylic paint on cradled wood panel, Don Fortenberry creates pieces of balance and tension. The geometric forms retain an important touch of the handmade. Vibrant colors meet and harmonize, or at times, intentionally fail to harmonize, creating a visual whole that is hypnotic and thought-provoking.
